With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Thurnes of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, who passed away on August 25, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her sons, Troy and Dean; and her parents, Leonard Lewandoski and Virginia Lewandoski.

She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Gloin of St. Augustine, FL and Kerry Formick (Scott) of Rootstown, OH; her grandchildren, Alexandra Quellhorst (Nathan) of Columbia, MD, Dylan Gloin (Amy) of St. Augustine, Connor Formick of Cleveland and Garrett Formick of Akron, OH; and her great grandchildren, Lincoln Gloin and Anders Quellhorst. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, FL 17, Chicago, Il 60601.
