He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nicholes and Virginia McEndree Nicholes; his wife Rosalie Grace Rinkes Nicholes; his children, John Donald Nicholes and Beth Ann Nicholes; his siblings, Delbert Nicholes (Donna), Robert Nicholes, Delores Crooks (Herman), Silvia Neuhart (Larry), Florence Lent and Patricia Perkins; and his siblings-in-law, Ernest Roe, Wayne Rinkes, Harry Rinkes, Yvonna Nicholes and Betty Orr.
He is survived by: his son Mark Nicholes; and his siblings, Shirley Roe of Old Washington and Willis Nicholes of Quaker City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
