Though David McAlphine may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Taylor and Virginia Hehman Taylor; and his sister Nancy Carnes of Barnesville, OH.. He is survived by: his children, Penny Govekar (John) of Columbus, Heather Elmore (Shawn) of Columbus and Chris Taylor of St. Clairsville; his niece Karen Large (Jim); his nephew Jeffrey James Carnes; and his great-nieces, Morgan and Rebecca.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Toothman Funeral Home (141 S Marietta St, St Clairsville, OH 43950). A masonic service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
