It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clara Bell Pyles of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, born in Flushing, Ohio, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Thompson and Jesse Wiley Thompson; her husband Harry L. Pyles; her children, Paul E. Pyles and Betty Pyles; her grandson Scott Pyles; her stepgrandson Harold J. Gordon; her siblings, Albert Thompson and Mildred May; and her sons-in-law, David Adams, Harold E. Gordon, Alfred Hennebert and Fred Romel.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Hennebert, Harry J. Pyles, Ruth Gordon, Mary Romel, James Allen Pyles, John Pyles Sr., Karen Usenick and Jo Marie Adams. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings are required for the public visitation on Wednesday 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
