She was predeceased by: her parents, John Palmer and Lena Ady Palmer; her husband John "Sonny" Burghy; her children, Bobbie Jo Burghy, John "Mike" Burghy and Clarence Russ Hoffman; and her siblings, Evelyn McGarry, Geraldine Spence, Iona Travis, Emily McGilton, Helen Kasik and Earl Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Knox (John) of St. Clairsville, Brian Hoffman (Rhonda) of Glencoe, OH., Carol Phillips (Kenny) of Columbus, OH., Betty Burghy of St. Clairsville and Shelly Smith of St. Clairsville; and her daughters-in-law, Darlene "Susie" Burghy of St. Clairsville, Angie Burghy of Dillonvale, OH. and Helen "Toni" Eckard of St. Clairsville. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many other foster children.
