He was predeceased by: his parent Frank Yanik; his wife Elvera Rose Cerra Yanik; and his daughter Regina Hajdin. He is survived by: his parent Madelyn Yanik; his friend John Shipta; his son Andrew "A. J." Yanik of St. Clairsville; his son-in-law Michael Hajdin of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Christine Hajdin Taut, Michael Hajdin and Nicole Yanik.
