He was predeceased by: his daughter Donna Skimin; his siblings, John Jackson, Dorothy Papp, Lucille Burrell and Marilyn Russell; and his former wife Ruth Jackson (Skedel).
He is survived by: his wife Diane (Doherty); his children, Kathlyn Smith, Julie Herman (Jon), Sharon Jackson and Jeffrey Jackson; and his grandchildren, Brian Smith (Brooke), Erin Sandona (Sean), James Skimin, Elizabeth Paz (Roger), Jessica McCarty (Ryan), Jason Herman, Jacob Herman (Khrysta), Reid Wendell (Amanda), Robert Wendell (Selina) and Stacy Sawyer (Danielle). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
