She was predeceased by: her spouse Joseph; and her child Mary Margaret Rutan. She is survived by: her children, Brian Rutan, Dennis Rutan, Patrick Rutan, Timothy Rutan and Ruth Rutan; her sibling Myron Ruggles; and her friends, Tina Young, Donna White and Emily Schuster. She is also survived by grandmother and great grandmother.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Habitat for Humanity.
