He was predeceased by: his father Joseph P. Cefaratti, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Rita J. Cefaratti; his siblings, Kimberly A. Cefaratti, Joseph P., III and Anthony; his niece Bryjanna K. Brayo-Cefaratti; and his nephew Dominic J. Brayo-Cefaratti.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends may also make a memorial donation in Chad's name to Loggerhead Marinelife Center (marinelife.org/give) Loggerhead Marinelife Center rehabilitates sick and injured sea turtles with the goal of releasing them back into the ocean.
