He is survived by: his children, Janell Carson (Chris) of Forest City, Jana Reser (Kevin) of Wilmington and Jay Hale (Debbie) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Greg Carson (Lisa), Rhonda Hale, Chad Hale, Derek Hale (Rachelle), Keith Hale (Sam) and Elizabeth Ames (Jay); his great grandchildren, Lily Carson, Reagan Hale, Tanner Strouth, Isabelle Hale, Adron Hale, Leighton Hale, Sawyer Hale, Kinze Hale, Livey Hale, Garrett Hale and Cole Hale; his siblings, Beverly Cole, Martha Williams, Laura Swope and Lewis Hale; his pet Jim Bauman; and his son-in-law Dale Thomas.
