He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Morgan and Tempa Morgan; and his siblings, Roy Morgan, Emma Rider (Skip) and Barbara Alice Morgan.

He is survived by: his wife Deloris Morgan (Roberts); his children, Kathy Woodrow (Ron), Kim Barber (Brad) of Louisville, Brenda Woods (Larry) of Sabina and Clayton Morgan (Holly) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Tyler Woodrow, Ryan, Kyle, Catie Barber, Grant, Garrett, Gabby Woods, Camden and Colson Morgan; and his siblings, Joe Morgan (Dorothy), Jack Morgan, Linda Stewart, Sue Allen (Hal) and Teresa Friedman (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
