He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lemings and Jessie Penwell Lemings; and his siblings, Kenneth, Jean and Thomas.

He is survived by: his children, Dale Lemings of Sabina, Scott Lemings (Kay) of Sabina, Sherry Radcliff Toner of New Lexington and Jeremy Lemings of Mt. Sterling; and his brother Jackie Lemmings. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
