He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Ruth Nichols Estell; and his siblings, William, Margaret Ellen, Joe, Tom, Verna Jean, Ruth Ann and Larry.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Georges Estell; his children, Alicia Goings (Forest) of Wilmington, Laura Lynch (Troy) of Clarksville, Nick Estell (Donna) of Reynoldsburg, Greg Estell (Pam) of Blacklick and Tim (Melissa) of Mason; and his grandchildren, Alex Estell (Jamie), Sarah Badger (Quinten), Stephanie Estell (Nick Clayton), Nicole Estell (JP Gipson), Rachel Rose (Dylan), Matthew Estell (Meg Hoffman), Molly Lynch (Ryan Thompson), Conner Estell (Chandlyr), Allyson Estell (Logan Woodall) and Megan Estell. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Littleton Funeral Home (104 N Jackson St, Sabina, OH 45169). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Columbkille Catholic Church (73 N Mulberry St, Wilmington, OH 45177).

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Columbkille Catholic Church.

“The Estell family was hugely important to me during my teens. I've never been as close to any family as I was to them, other than my own parents and siblings. I cherish memories of many evenings hanging out with Nick and Rita in their living room, when I would drop by unannounced and uninvited. They always made me feel welcome, whether or not their children were home. Sending love and light to the family. I greatly regret that I will not be able to pay my respects in person. Bill Kincaid”
