She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Fowers and Dessie Ater Fowers; her stepparent Harley; her husband Ralph Slone; and her sister Mary Ludeke.
She is survived by: her stepmother Florence Goings; and her sons, Ryan (Kathy) of Springboro, Jay (late Kathy) of Sabina, John (Lisa) of Flemingsburg and Jeff (Maedeane Warden) of Wilmington.
