He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brannon and Dana Huff Brannon; his former wife Katherine 'Kay Slagle Brannon; his wife Nancy Brannon; and his siblings, Sharon DeBord, Tony Brannon and Steven Brannon.
He is survived by: his children, Shevonna Leaverton (Todd Kessinger), Robert Truman, John Truman (Brigitte) and Debbie Riley (George); his close friend Phyllis Blevins; and his siblings, Stella Brannon, Peggy Haynes and John Brannon.
