He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold B. Carnahan and Dora Etta Jones Carnahan; his wife Betty Graves Carnahan; his son David W. Carnahan; his stepgrandson Doug Haines; and his siblings, Robert, Thelma and Edward.
He is survived by: his children, JoEtta Haines (Dennis) of Sabina, Cathy Persinger (John) and Don Carnahan of Sabina; his daughter-in-law Toni Carnahan of Sarver, PA.; his grandchildren, Jeff Haines (Kim), Stefanie McFadden (Steven), Jenna Persinger, Jason Persinger (Sarah Balzer), Jill Persinger, Jessica Amberger (Darren), Heather, Erica and Kayla Carnahan; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, Ava Haines and Emersyn McFadden.
