He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Thompson and Mary Thompson (Rhoades); his wife Rosa Mae Thompson (Massie); his children, Janet Thompson, Billy Thompson and Randy Thompson; his son-in-law Ed Warnock; his grandchildren, Scott Thompson and Elisha Warnock; and his siblings, John Thompson, Harold Thompson, Fay Thompson and Florence Waulk.
He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Warnock of Sabina; his stepdaughter Joyce Fettro (Jim) of Hillsboro; his daughter-in-law Kim Thompson of Rainsboro; his grandchildren, Tammy King (Jamie), Teresa Baker (Blake), Bruce Thompson (Tara), Tommy Warnock (Jennifer) and Davey Warnock (Misty); his stepgrandchildren, Steve Fettro, Heath Fettro, Sheryl Fluegeman (Brian) and Angela Fettro; and his nephew Jim Johnson. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
