She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Everett and Mabel Hammond Woodmansee; her husband J. P. Akers; her daughter Linda; and her siblings, Bob and Janet Lee.
She is survived by: her friend Church; her daughters, Chyanne, Wendy, Julie and Jackie; and her siblings, Jane and John. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
