She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Dawson and Bessie "Louise" Koons Dawson; her husband Herman 'Doc' Newman; her son-in-law Richard Willett; and her brothers, Marvin, Jim, Jesse and Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Willett of Jamestown, Linda Fugate (Michael) of Sabina and Doug Newman (Lynnette) of Sabina; her grandchildren, Eric Brooks (Keo), Bryan Fugate (Jenn Carl), Brandy Nolley (Shane), Nathaniel, Alisha Boggs (Wesley) and Ritchie Willett (Kara); her brother Roger Dawson (Ruth); and her siblings-in-law, Violet Dawson, Vicki Dawson, Edith Thompson (Robert), Lynda Newman, Ruthie Newman, Kathy Camp, Jerry Newman (Robyn) and Richard Newman (Diann).
