He was predeceased by: his brother Timothy Snowden; and his nephew Nathan Eskew. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Britton, Brandon Goble (Mandy) and Breanna Caldwell (Ralph); and his siblings, Robert Lee "Bobby" Snowden, Judith Hill (Jim), Rosemary Eskew and Lorri Lightle (Craig).
