He was predeceased by : his father Amos B. Cross, Sr.; his father-in-law Jack Frederick; and his brothers, David Cross, Alexander Cross and Christopher Cross.

He is survived by : his mother Gladys J. Stowers Cross; his wife Cylinda "Frederick" Cross; his sons, Ayden Cross (Kayla) and Alex Cross; his brothers, Amos B. Cross Jr. (Dee) and Ernest Lee Cross (Mona); his sister-in-law Pam Cross; his mother-in-law Kay Frederick; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Turner (Dave), Jodi Martin (Steve), Kristen King (Gary) and Jeff Brown (Mary).
