He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy C. Mays and Maxine Garrett (Gray); his stepfather David Garrett; his niece Lisa Phillips; his nephews, Jacob Phillips, Danny Courts and Joshua Parret; his brother-in-law Rodney Rickey; and his stepsister Sandy Rose.
He is survived by: his stepbrothers, David Garret (Remie) and Larry Garrett; his sisters, Dorothy Sams (Crickett) of Russellville, Yvonne Becker (Tom) of Batavia and Aimee Garrett of Russellville; and his nieces and nephews, Jolynn Wheeler (Scott) of Russellville, Dan Wilson (Christie) of St. Augustine, Roy W. Mays (Dawn) of Loveland, Michael Smith (Lacey) of Mt. Carmel, Autumn Meeker (Andrew) of Russellville and Colten Adams (Brittany).
