Downing of Russellville, Ohio, born in Siberia, Indiana, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward M. Oser and Olivia K. Oser (Meyer); her husband Gene Downing; her son Tim Downing; and her siblings, Henrietta Bartell, Margaret Martin, Alfred "Jim" Oser, Robert Oser, Edward Oser Jr., Delores Carnahan, Walter Oser, Rita Buechlein, George Oser and Louise Oser.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Downing of Russellville, Greg Downing of Russellville, Cheryl Florence (Garrell) of Georgetown, Christy Downing (Joe Bachman) of Batavia and Janet Jones (Jeff) of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Brandon Downing (Jodi), Sarah Tindall (William), Jerrod Florence (Nicole), Jennifer Holtz (Bryan), Kerry Burns (Dawn), Lauren Simpson (Ricky), Blake Jones (Brooke), Cory Jones and Erin Matchett (James); her siblings, Leroy Oser (Marlene) and Virginia Hubert; and her brother-in-law Jerry Downing. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary Catholic Church, Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley or Alzheimer's Association.
