He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Pettit and Delia Ann Spurlock Pettit; his wife Lillian Marie Storer Burke; and his daughter Janice Botkin. He is survived by: his children, Leah Klump (Colin) of Georgetown, Ohio, John Burke (Connie) of Russellville, Ohio, Michael Burke (Denise) of Manchester, OH, Jeffrey Burke (Cynthia) of West Chester, Ohio, Russell Burke (Robin) of Mays Lick, KY and Teresa Gates (John) of Ripley, Ohio. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Lower Rock Lick Enterprise Baptist Church, 1169 Lower Rock Lick Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
