He was predeceased by: his parents, Delphyn Hurt and Mary Hurt (Burnett); and his son Nathan Hurt. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Hurt of Russellville; his children, Matthew Hurt (Abbey) of Winchester and Hannah Slodki of Bagdad, KY; his siblings, Dwight Hurt of Aberdeen, Patricia Reynolds (Jim) of Richland, VA and Barbara McKee (Rick) of Bowling Green; and his grandchildren, Simon Slodki, William Slodki, Sarah Slodki, Zoie Hurt and Zachary Hurt.
