He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Florence Ava Barlup Holloway; and his brother Ed Holloway. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Marie Dotson; his son Donald Holloway (Sebby); his stepsons, Joe Schmiedebusch (Andrea) and Fred Schmiedebusch; his grandchildren, Derek, Freddie, Summer, Tommy, Amelia, Cora and Cole; his sister Bonnie Ambos (Ace); and his sister-in-law Maria Holloway.
