He was predeceased by: his father Robert Wertz. He is survived by: his mother Velma Miley Wertz of Springfield; his children, Brooks Wertz (Jennifer) of Franklin, Amanda Dean (Shane) of Marysville and Carrie Black of Plain City; and his siblings, Jeff Wertz, Cheryl Mitchell, Sharon Sink (Tony) and Rob Wertz (Ronnie).
