It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal May Gilliam of Russells Point, Ohio, born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie Whitt, Sr. and Mary Henry Whitt Shroyer; her son Adam Gilliam; and her sisters, Mary Warner and Brenda Yoakam.
She is survived by: her son James W. Gilliam, Jr. of Russells Point; her granddaughter Shaila Gilliam; her great grandchild Atlas Gilliam; and her brothers, Tony Whitt, Sr. of Russells Point, Terry Whitt (Mandy) of Virginia and Buster Whitt, Jr. (Tammy) of Idaho. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
