We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2022, at the age of 77, Luis Avila of Russells Point, Ohio, born in Hayward, California passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Luis Avila to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Avila and Angelina Corral Avila; his wife Karen Zimmerly; and his siblings, Thomas Gilbert Avila, Fred Avila, Edward Corral, Phyllis Bonilla and Manuel Avila.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Platfoot (Jesse) of Bellefontaine, Jesse Avila (Tammy) of Russells Point and Benji Avila of Lakeview, OH; his grandchildren, Tyler Avila, Hannah Avila, Brynna Avila, Selena Avila, Gage Penhorwood (Madecyn), Garett Avila and Chelsea Wilson (Reese); his great grandchildren, Sophia Penny Rose Penhorwood and Anna Marie Wilson; and his siblings, Mary Ann Severe, Jake Avila, Lupe Roybal, Leo Avila and Eddie "PeeWee" Avila. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
