She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Grady" Matthews, Sr. and Katherine Tidwell Garrett; her son Gary L. Fouse; her grandson Jeremi Zerbe; her brother Lonnie Matthews; and her stepfather Clabe Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos E. Fouse, Jr. of Sidney, OH and Carolyn L. Wheatley (Roger) of Montpelier, IN; her grandchildren, Jessica Edwards, Roger Anderson, Danielle Heidel, Amanda Fouse, Tasha Rudd and Daniele Datres; and her siblings, Jimmy Matthews, Jr. of Lakeview, OH, Becky Morgan of Richmond, KY and Joyce Gadd of West Carrollton, OH. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
