She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Zimmerly and Helen Allsetter Zimmerly; and her siblings, Bob, Gene, Don Zimmerly and Margie McKee.
She is survived by: her husband Luis Avila; her children, Teresa Platfoot (Jesse) of Bellefontaine, Jesse Avila (Tammy) of Russells Point and Benji Avila of Lakeview, OH; her grandchildren, Tyler Avila, Hannah Avila, Brynna Avila, Selena Avila, Gage Penhorwood (Madecyn), Garett Avila and Chelsea Wilson (Reese); her great grandchild Sophia Penny Rose Penhorwood; and her sister Sharon Kipker of Lewistown, OH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
