He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Sr. Burden and Della Eppley Burden; his wife Linda Sue Beck; his daughter Jodi Gerritsen; his great grandchildren, Melissa, Katherine and Maxton; and his siblings, Bobby, Basil Jr., James, Peggy and Sandy.
He is survived by: his children, James Burden (Kerrie) of Rawson, OH and Linda Sue Burden of Russells Point; his grandchildren, Cassy (John), Joey (Gwen), Michael (Jess), Jimmy (Cailyn), Greg (Deb), Billy, Mikey (Jess), Abbie (Schuyler), Katie (Jay) and Jackie; his great grandchildren, Diamond, Johnathon, Davison, Starr, Jasper, Jimmy, Gabby, Ariana, Oakley, Lily, AvaLynn and Zaidynn; his son-in-law Brad Gerritsen of Lakeview; and his sister Geri Warner (Gene) of Lima. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to his family c/o Shoffstall Funeral Home.
