He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Rutherford and Nora Jane Rutherford; his sister Jan Ritchie; his brother-in-law Kevin Helser; his father-in-law Carl Helser; and his sister-in-law Donna Rutherford.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Rutherford (Helser); his children, Eric Rutherford (Carissa) and Monica Cooperrider (Darrel); his grandchildren, Savannah, Emily, Nora and Daniel; his brother Joe Rutherford; and his mother-in-law Maxine Helser. He is also survived by four step grandchildren; two step great-granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home (203 S Columbus St, Somerset, OH 43783). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
