He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Chuck" Fillinger and Freda Fillinger (Penhorwood); and his siblings, Carol Myers (Don), Bill and Mike Fillinger.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Corwin; his children, Jeremy Fillinger of Henderson, Jared Fillinger of Marion, Tara Joseph (Todd) of Bellefontaine and Steve Lockwood of Bellefontaine; his grandchildren, Tori, Drew, Hailey, Hayden, Dalton, Ryder, Austin, Evan and Jordan; his sisters, Rita Jo Crabtree (Dan) of Whitehall, Mary Jean McGee (Allen) of Pataskala and Peggy Harris (Dave) of Bellefontaine; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Corwin (Molly) and Darrel Corwin (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
