He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Boyd and Joanna Boyd; his wife Pauline (Ralston); his daughter Elaine Parrish (Douglas); his grandchildren, Emma Parrish, Fiona Parrish, Kaine Mendoza and Derek Boyd; his siblings, Christina Roebuck, Agnes McKinstry and Joseph Boyd (Hillary); and his daughter Lorna.

Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
