He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Hirzel and Robert L. Hirzel. He is survived by: his sisters, Cheryl Fitzpatrick (Kevin) and Nancy LaHote (Craig); and his nieces and nephews, Mike Fitzpatrick (Katie), Nick Fitzpatrick, Mark Fitzpatrick (Rachael), Lindsay Rozelle (Austin), Alex LaHote (Kelly) and Jessica LaHote. He is also survived by eight great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Delta, Ohio or the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
