It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Molly Jakubec of Rossford, Ohio, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. Vavrik and Amelia Vavrik (Hutchek); her husband Eugene S. Jakubec; her sons, Eugene "Sam" and Michael Jakubec; and her grandson Nicholas Welborne.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Jakubec (Sandra), Martin (Kimberly), Jane Jump (David), Matthew and Joseph (Wendy); her grandchildren, Christina Griffith (Todd), Ann Marie Stec, Molly Joseph (Alan), Mark Jakubec (Todd Williams), James Jakubec, Jonathan Jakubec (Hannah), Samantha Linak (Rich), Jason Metzger, Kelly Metzger, Andrew Jakubec (Allison), Daniel (Rachel), Korie Anthony (Ryan), Amanda Jakubec, Amelia Jakubec, Adam Jakubec and David Jump; her great grandchildren, Evan, Allison, Lauren, Dylan, Jocelyn, Jacob, Leah, Jordan, Andi, Ryli, Kole, Reid, Will, Emma, Averie and Micah; her nieces, Kristine Goldsmith and Karen Bodeker; and her cousin Joanne Bucklew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home (830 Lime City Rd, Rossford, OH 43460). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (628 Lime City Rd, Rossford, OH 43460).
Memorial donations in Molly's honor may be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
