He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Utley; his children, Victoria Vonda Mc Cree, Vania Kathleen Underwood (Isaac), Spencer Todd Utley (Tamika), Shea, Tudor Utley and Sovine Tanze Utley (Leigh); and his siblings, Robert, Willie Joe Utley and Carolyn Utley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
