He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Werner and Helen Werner (Golder); his siblings, Carl Werner (Peg), Harold Werner (Nancy) and Ethel Drechsler (Robert); his daughter Carla Bayer; and his nephew Kim Werner (Betty Werner).
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Werner (Rousseau); his children, Henry "Hans" Werner, Jr. (Andrea) and Marsha Wofter (Rick); his grandchildren, Robin Dean (Bill), Hollie Tokish (Steve), Mike Bayer (Jessica), Henry "Jared" Werner (Lauren) and Tyler Werner (Jenna Rachwal); his great grandchildren, Billy, Bradley Dean, Ronald, Madelyn, Alexander Tokish, Henry, Jack Werner, Carla, Colton Bayer, Mike Schwind and Skyler Adams; his son-in-law Michael Bayer (Gayle); his nephews, Jon Werner and Phil Drechsler; his great-niece Laura Eins; and his extended family, Ruth Rousseau, Barbara Lahey (Marty) and Rob Rousseau.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations may be made in Henry's name to Lakeside Hoover Auditorium Restoration Fund or The Toledo Zoo.
