He was predeceased by: his parents, John Widener and Evelyn Widener (Mitchell); his daughter Joni Widener; and his siblings, Albert Widener, Harry "Ed" Widener, Sue Frye and John Widener (Julie).
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Widener (Ted Hunt) of Union City, Perry Widener (Lora) of Rossburg and Ryan Widener (Stacie Bierly) of Greenville; his siblings, Sharon Bowman, Ron Widener (Kathy), Dann "Slug" Widener (Pam), Roselynn Widener and James Widener (Debbie); and his sister-in-law Grace Widener. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help offset final expenses.
