He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Willsey and Margaret Willsey (Eckstein); and his son Rick Willsey of Hamilton. He is survived by: his sister Shirley Turner; his wife Pam Willsey; his children, Thomas Willsey (Tammy), Jaime Schirmer (Rick) and David Willsey (Christine); and his granddaughters, Kosa, Savannah, Morgan, Addison and Elle.
