He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schmidt and Mildred Schmidt (Lierer) of Colerain Township; and his siblings, Walter, Elmer Schmidt and Nancy Brown.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Schmidt; and his grandchildren, Daniel Allen, Victoria Schmidt, Ashley Brossart and Crystal Donley. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Ross High School Band Program or the American Diabetes Association.
