She was predeceased by: her father Joseph; her husband Edmund Houpe, Sr.; her sons, James Wayne Houpe and Paul Douglas Houpe; and her siblings, Charles, Helen, Peggy and Jane.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Houpe, Jr. (Mary), Connie Keel (Larry), Lisa Jackson (Robert) and Vicky Patrick; her brother Billy Joe West; and her pets, Chico and Cici. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 8 great, great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
