It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Nelson Bates Jr. (Ross, Ohio), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sr. Bates and Elizabeth Bates (Garten); his children, Raymond Bates III and Trecy Webb; and his brothers, James and William.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Bates; his sons, Robert Bates (Teresa) and Jon Bates (Kirsha); his son-in-law Rodney Webb; and his grandsons, Raymond IV, Robert Jr. and Clinton. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
