She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Scholl and Mary Scholl (Lasita); and her nephew Dan Hulgin. She is survived by: her husband Joe Schmidlin; her children, Lori Schmidlin Franklin (Bill Wessling) and Thomas Schmidlin (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Patrick, Katie Franklin, Carter and Milo Schmidlin; her sister Jo Ann Hulgin (James); and her niece Patti.
