Novella Hitt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Novella Hitt of Ross, Ohio, born in Clay, Kentucky, who passed away on July 29, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Thompson and Flora Thompson (Cope); her daughter-in-law Mary Hitt; and her brother-in-law Wendell Clemmons. She is survived by: her husband Donald R. Hitt; her children, Leisha Workman (Art), Betty Paul (Dan), Pam Burge (Mike), Eva Denise Sulfridge, Thomas Hitt and Tammie Wingerberg (Tim); her grandchildren, Jeff Workman, Michelle Emmert, Heather Robinson, Angie Schuringa, Mary Eldridge, Danielle Burge, Krista Joseph, Ryan Woodward, Keith Robinson and Ashley Farley; her siblings, James Thompson (Carolyn) and Bernice Clemmons; and her sister-in-law Veeda Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
