He was predeceased by: his parents, Estill Meadows and Mary Meadows (Powell); and his brothers, Jerry Meadows, James "Jim" Edward Meadows and Gary Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Gail; his son Danny Sparks; his grandchildren, Dustin Sparks, Brandon Sparks and Ashley Sparks; and his great grandchildren, Bree, Westin and Jackson. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
