It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kempton Van Niman of Ross, Ohio, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Niman and Catherine Rose Van Niman; his son Charles David Van Niman; his grandson Robbie Van Niman; and his brothers, David Clinton, Edward and Donald Van Niman.
He is survived by: his wife Colette Van Niman; his children, Cynthia Marie Hart (David), Doni Uphus (Steve) and Joseph Clinton Van Niman (Debbie); his grandchildren, Katie Haverkamp, Joey M. Van Niman, Stephanie Wissel, Michelle Mayhall, Alex Uphus, Justin Van Niman, Tyler Van Niman, Patrick Hart, Maggie Hart, Maria Hart and Scott Uphus; his sister Catherine Herod (Rick); and his sister-in-law Elaine Fieger. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
