It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard J. Niehaus of Ross, Ohio, born in Hamilton, Ohio, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Niehaus and Margaret Niehaus (Miller); and his siblings, Oscar Jr., Robert (Vivian), Paul Niehaus and Rita Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hudepohl; his children, Linda Ruttencutter (Paul), Joyce Slaughter (Steve), Carol Schappacher (Dan), Mark Niehaus and Lori Harrison (Sam); his brother Clifford Niehaus (Dee); his siblings-in-law, Norman Anderson and Annette Niehaus; his friend Dorothy Shoemaker; and also Betty Lierer (late Carl). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
