He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen Schweikert; his parents, Edward P. Nusekabel and Aurelia Nusekabel; and his siblings, Laverne Fleihman, Virginia Miller, Ruth Holzman, Joan Elder and Carol Wessler.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Kristy Herbort (Mike); his grandchildren, Patrick, Daniel Kennedy, Tom, Kelly and Kate Schweikert; and his brother Jim Nusekabel (Tina).
